The most difficult part is making sure that every student’s individualized needs are met.

Describe a successful teaching strategy that you use in the classroom. How does this impact your students’ achievement?

I found that my students love small group activities where they are able to talk to others. I have leveraged this time to check for students’ understanding which in turn allows me to better craft my lessons to suit their needs.

Informative, Helpful, Impactful

When you are not working on closing the achievement gap, what do you enjoy doing?

I love hanging out with my friends and trying new restaurants.
